A Virginia Choose and Cut Christmas Tree Farm and Nursery
Oakland Tree Plantation is a family owned and operated Christmas Tree farm conveniently
located on 4 lane US Rt. 340 four miles north of Berryville, VA and eight miles south of Charles Town, WV
The farm is open from 9 am until dark every day, seven days a week from the
Friday of Thanksgiving weekend until December 23rd.
This Christmas season we celebrate our 22nd year of business and we are happy to report that
our prices are the same or lower than last year.
We are a family friendly business and we welcome young and old alike. Children love the free hay rides
that we offer every weekend, enjoy petting our sheep and goats, watching the animals climb up
on a skywalk above them, and taking home a Christmas coloring book. Adults appreciate
a cup of hot mulled cider after cutting their tree.
We hand you a bow saw and direct you to the best field on our 500 acre farm to find your perfect
Christmas tree from amongst the many varieties that we grow. You may walk, take your vehicle
or ride one of our tractor drawn hay wagons out to our fields. Your dog is very welcome as long as
he is kept under control. The hay wagon will haul your tree back to the barn, where we can remove
any dead needles with our shaker, bale the tree with twine, measure and price it. We accept cash, personal checks,
Visa and Mastercard. Lastly we can help you tie your tree on your car.
If you prefer not to cut your own tree, Santa’s barn holds the area’s largest selection of fresh cut Fraser Firs
grown in the mountains of southwest Virginia, along with pine roping, evergreen wreaths, bows, ornaments and more.
